Xmas On Ice - Holiday Full Report

Well Hi, how are you? I've been away for several days to Makassar. I had planned this since a month a go, I really want to try ice skating. You want to know about my holiday, well check this out.

I left Soroako on 23rd December, at 8 pm local time. It was rain. But I wouldn't let my self late for the buss. Well, in the rain, I started my trips. I had lots of lists that I planned to do soon I arrived in Makassar, here they are my lists:

• get coto (a tradisional food of Makassar, known as Coto Makassar) in Karebosi
• go to MTC (Makassar Trade Center) for shopping shoes and electronic
• get Pizza with lots and more cheese...miss it so much!!!
• ICE SKATING
• gifts shopping
• eat pisang rasa 

Aaaaaaaaaaannnd....here you are my trips then:

Karebosi first day

I arrived at Makassar in the early morning of December 24, around 7 am. 

My first step in Makassar is Karebosi, I need to eat  some popular food here. It is Coto, it looks like soup but made from beef, the taste is salty, spicy and sour....wow...what a fantastic food. I love it so much. 

After I got my "shocking" breakfast (well, if you never eat something spicy don't try to get this food as your breakfast, because it will make you pup all day....hahahahahah), I went to MTC or Makassar Trade Center, where the people usually go here for shopping. The most popular shopping here is shopping for electronics things such as phone cell, computers, cameras and many more. Because this market is cheaper than other shopping area. Also you can get shoes or dresses here. And the most interesting thing in this mall is, you can bargain. What a wonderful. I have never found mall where we can bargain (hahahahaa.....nice).

Well, my first step at MTC was shopping. I bought some shoes with the lower prices here and I also had some discount as I was trying to bargain. Eventhough I think it was still expensive one, because I am not good in bargaining..(hahahahaaa......I wish I am good at that so I will have lots of discount)

After I got my shoes at MTC it was time for me to move to another mall that I had planned before. It was Panakkukang mall or known as MP. Here my teen dream would be a true in a moment. When I was young, I dream to spend my Christmas holiday on ice like in Europe country (well......I still dream it up to now.....hahahahahah) it would be great for me I thought. So........to make the dream come true, I did this trip, Christmas on ice!!!

Here I am on ice in final. My first step on ice was very horrible. Soon after I landed the ice...KBOOMMM!!!! I fell down on ice, wet and shy....hahahahaa...but it is fun on it. I was falling down so many times and I got many hurts around my body. But it was fun. I like to skate. I hope I can do skate again in my next holiday. Want to join me? Well, I see you there then...(LOL)

Even though I got so many pains, but I enjoyed my skating. Well, I am not as good as my friend. She could skate well in her first try. But me, I only moved around and try to stand on ice (Hmmm....not good...funny though..hahahha).

After an hour skate, I felt hungry and thirsty. As I live so many months in the jungle (hahahahaaa.....) I need to eat something that I couldn't find in the jungle. It is pizza!!!

Well...I miss Pizza so much. I need a big pizza with cheese all over. Mmmmm.....yummmy!!!!

Luckily, that day the food stall over a great Pizza with seven different cheese in it. Of course, I got that one. Finally, Pizza for lunch, and Pizza for dinner. WOW....!!! The Tarzani eat Pizza (hahahahhaaa......)

Pizza and skating was over. And it is shopping time again. I stepped by in some shop to get Christmas gifts. I saw some beautiful Christmas tree in front of the stall, and of course it was a great moment to taking picture. Beside is the picture of me with my tired face and injured body......(Hahahahhaaaa........)

Okay then, let's join the shoppers inside. I need to buy some Christmas dress for tomorrow, I think red choice would be better. I have been inside for hours but I couldn't find the dress I wanted. But finally, I got a red dress with 50% discount. What a lucky me (hahahahaha...peace.....). And after I got my red dress, I moved to shoes discount. What a lucky day for me, I got some shoes with discount. Buy one got two (I mean two pairs not two, left and right....hahahahahhahahaa......) It was Rp 79.000,00 for two pairs of brand merk shoes. What a lucky day! I loved that day so much!

So many foods in Christmas hihihihii.....

Shopping time was offer, and it was time to go back and rest. Next day I went to church and doing some visit to my friends in Makassar. There, I found some special food that made from egg and sugar. It named as Cucurubayao. Bayao means egg. So it is also called as egg cake. It tasted sweet. Very sweet. Want to try? Go to Makassar then (hihihihihii..................). In Makassar tradition. People doing visit to friends, family and neighbors. They used this best moment to meet people that they didn't see for a while.

Hair treatment

Doing visitation was done, and it was time for me to get a bit relax. I went to a barber shop to get hair treatment and got my new hair cut. I felt relax then after those busy and fun days. Well, it is very popular song, so, so many people will easily to recognize this song......

And when the people sing it means that Christmas is coming!!! (Yeahhhhhhhh....like it aloot.....want to give me gifts....well....will be glad to accept it.....xixixixixoxoxoxo)

To welcome the Christmas, people are doing so many things like shopping for their clothes, shoes and maybe a new look (hahahahaaaa.....doing facial surgery...hahahahhaaa.....), included re-arrange their house, decorate the house and and church (I wish i can decorat "myself" to make it more pretty....hahahahahahhahaa). In some churches, Christians are doing so many activities to welcome Jesus in their heart, such as games, prayers, celebration, or even competition. 

Talking about competition, here we are have some news about competition. It is choir competition. When a large group of singers are singing together it is called as choir (maybe..............yaaaaaaaaaaakkkkkkkkkk....). This choir competition took place in small town of a mining area. It is Soroako, South East Asia.

The competition only followed by three main churches in Soroako area. They are Soroako Church, Wasuponda Church and Wawondula Church. These churches are in the Oiukumene United. The Churches are sited in the different town. They are Soroako, Wasuponda and Wawondula towns.Three of them perform the best performance last night (December 17, 2011) in Wasuponda Church which is around 30 minutes from Soroako by car.
